Better to eat them up quickly ;-)Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07236185144763826567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6528614636093635530.post-932386331200453012014-03-08T19:15:53.168-08:002014-03-08T19:15:53.168-08:00These look yummy! I wanted to add that you should put a call into your child's pediatrician, if you feel unsure. They should be able to easily handle a question like this over the phone. My comments are never intended to replace medical advice and are only based on my recollections of information I have read over the years. New information (and advice based on it) can come to light at any time.Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07236185144763826567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6528614636093635530.post-25257839083460760512012-03-20T07:45:58.840-07:002012-03-20T07:45:58.840-07:00Well, I am not a medical expert, but I believe the...Well, I am not a medical expert, but I believe the prohibition on honey for infants is only up to one year of age, so a one year old should be safe. With the frosting, there would be no problem with any age consuming it, as it is boiled for some time, and heat deactivates botulism spores. With the cake, I cannot be sure if the amount of heat and aeration would be sufficient for inactivation.Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07236185144763826567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6528614636093635530.post-85274631872263157172012-03-18T20:23:06.331-07:002012-03-18T20:23:06.331-07:00If I sub vanilla in for the almond, would this be ...If I sub vanilla in for the almond, would this be a safe recipe for a child's 1st. For some super fun, add a bit of kefir to the batter and it gives it a sour bite. I love to do that when adding blueberries.

Thank you!Jen Springerhttp://naturalanxietytherapy.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6528614636093635530.post-35008904744312883072009-04-15T01:22:00.000-07:002009-04-15T01:22:00.000-07:00I made cupcakes out of my Cinnamon Apple Cake reci...I made cupcakes out of my Cinnamon Apple Cake recipe, and frosted them with the marshmallow frosting. This time I cooked the honey just right, and the frosting is amazing - thick, creamy, smooth, and glossy in a pearly sort of way. I just dipped the cupcakes upside down into the bowl, and they came up with a beautiful swirl and perfect peak. I sprinkled slivered toasted almonds on top for decoration. I frosted 24 cupcakes and still had at least a cup and a half of frosting left. This frosting recipe is amazingly easy and delicious.

Tracy in BerkeleyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6528614636093635530.post-47006330259470684892009-03-23T16:09:00.000-07:002009-03-23T16:09:00.000-07:00These are incredible!
